Casa De Oakes Assisted Living & Memory Care

Project Scope: New senior living facility

This new 40-unit senior housing facility in Reedsburg provided greatly needed assisted living options to the residents of Sauk County. The 33,000-square-foot building includes new office space for Casa de Oakes, Inc. and also includes 20 units of assisted living and 20 units of dementia care housing.

The wood-framed project took advantage of off-site panelization of both exterior and interior walls. The project also features geothermal heating and cooling. Additional energy savings efforts included enhanced insulation and LED lighting.

Friede staff assisted the client with land acquisition and with the negotiation of tax incremental financing. The project was completed in eight months, a full two months ahead of schedule.

This project was recognized by the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) of Wisconsin as a 2016 Silver Project of Distinction.
