Hidden Ridge Residence
Project Scope: New residence
Location: Mazomanie, Wisconsin
Designer: Shulfer Architects
Situated 25 miles northwest of Madison, Wisconsin, behind a set of private gates is a sanctuary positioned high atop a hill overlooking the small town of Mazomanie. Hidden Ridge, the five bedroom, seven-bathroom sprawling luxury retreat was custom built by Friede & Associates in 2011 for Minnesota Wild All-Star defenseman, Ryan Suter.
The 12,000-square-foot mansion is sited on 120 acres and features just about every amenity one could want: an in-ground pool and hot tub, tennis court, home theatre, an executive office, fitness room, wine cellar, library, chef’s kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances and Butler’s pantry.
In addition, this stunning home features two fireplaces, vaulted ceilings, geothermal radiant floor heating, central air conditioning, and an attached three-car garage. This ideal home for entertaining also includes an inviting great room, lower level pub/billiard room, a full-house audio system and rich wood and stone accents. The living area is extended outdoors with an expansive covered dining space, with outdoor kitchen and fireplace, adjacent to the oversized pool and hot tub.
