HuHot Mongolian Grill
Project Scope: New restaurant
Location: Lake Delton, Wisconsin
Designer: Architectural Design Consultants, Inc.
HuHot Mongolian Grill is a new 5,200-square-foot restaurant in Lake Delton and is a new stand-alone building on a redevelopment site. The structure is a concrete foundation with a wooden frame and trusses. Exterior finishes include cultured stone, Trespa phenolic panels, and EIFS (Exterior Insulation and Finish System) with EPDM and standing seam metal roofing systems. Interior build-out includes a full kitchen as well as a 6’ diameter grill surface in the dining area where patrons can watch their food being cooked. Interior finishes include curved walls and soffits, murals, wall and floor tiles, solid surfaces, wood trim, and casework.
The 1,900-pound circular grill is the centerpiece of the new, interactive dining location. Customers will build their own unlimited stir-fry meals and the grill is where 95% of the cooking happens.
This project was recognized by the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) of Wisconsin as a 2017 Silver Project of Distinction.
